Baylee M. Brown, a Leader

Throughout my college career I have worn many different hats.

These roles include;

  • Alpha Kappa Delta Honor Society President

  • Chairwoman of the Panhellenic Judicial Board

  • Delta Gamma Director of New Members

  • Delta Gamma Director of Pursuits

  • Delta Gamma Director of Sisterhood

  • Delta Gamma Recruitment Night Chair

  • Executive Vice President of Panhellenic Executive Council

  • Pi Chi, Tntech Panhellenic Recruitment Counselor

  • Student Government Association, Associate Chief Justice of the Supreme Court

Panhellenic Executive Council

     When appointed as Tennessee Tech's Panhellenic Executive Vice President and Judicial Board Chairwoman, I was granted the honor of not only serving Panhellenic women, but my campus as a whole. During this time, Panhellenic Council and myself lead a Sexual Assault Awareness Week alongside the TnTech Women's Center, raised around $3,000 for Circle of Sisterhood, gave multiple seminars to our Panhellenic community, mentored two hundred women through the recruitment process, and much more!!

Delta Gamma Fraternity

Student Government Association

     The Epsilon Epsilon chapter of Delta Gamma Fraternity at Tennessee Tech University allowed me to serve in many capacities. During my time on the Joint Chapter Management Team, I spent time as our Director of New Members, Pursuits, and Sisterhood. I was permitted to lead the young women who decided to call DG their home in the Fall of 2017, continue to show older sisters that their love for Delta Gamma would grow, as well as help nurture the bonds between our sisters!

     In the fall of 2018, the President of TnTech's SGA appointed me to serve as a Supreme Court Justice. A few weeks later, my fellow Justices placed their belief in me and appoint me as their Associate Chief Justice. Within this role I work alongside eleven other heavily motivated young men and women to listen to the voices of students at Tennessee Tech. With this role, too comes the responsibly to be called upon but the Dean of Students to serve on the Academic Judicial Board in the event of a violation of Tennessee Tech's policies.
